* Consumer behaviour; Business-to-business behaviour, and market segmentation(different types of buying behaviour; recognising the stages and influences related to the consumer buying decision process; identifying new target segments)
* Strategic implications and applications of the marketing planning process (marketing planning process; analysing the business; setting marketing objectives; marketing budget)
* The marketing mix applications for a product or service ( identify and evaluate the importance and impact of each element of the marketing mix; Pricing considerations and Approaches; Marketing Logistics Networks, Retailing and Wholesaling; Advertising and Public Relations; Managing Sales Promotion and Selling; Direct and Online Marketing; Product Life Cycle)
